Junior Lawyer

We are looking for a law student from any year who wants hands-on experience now and the opportunity to grow with a new legal service.

About the role

We are building an online legal service focused on Russian law. It helps users understand their situation, receive a consultation, prepare a document, and identify the next step.

This is a hands-on role, not an internship or assistant position. The Junior Lawyer communicates with users and advises them independently, works with real requests, verifies legal information, and prepares standard documents.

pommeDeTerre owns product, development, design, the technical platform, and promotion. You own the legal side of the service: consultation quality, content accuracy, and development of the legal knowledge base.

Responsibilities

  • advise users independently;
  • review requests and help users identify the next step;
  • prepare claims, complaints, applications, and other legal documents;
  • find and verify statutes, court practice, and other legal sources;
  • create and maintain the service knowledge base, templates, and scenarios;
  • review answers and documents for accuracy, completeness, and legal risks;
  • track changes in law and improve the service based on real requests.

What matters

  • you are studying law — your year does not matter;
  • you can work with legislation and legal sources;
  • you can explain complex topics clearly and accurately;
  • you pay close attention to facts, wording, and detail;
  • you are ready to communicate with users independently and respectfully;
  • you want to develop quickly and take on increasing responsibility;
  • you are interested in digital products and new ways of delivering legal services.

Format and growth

This is a fully remote, full-time role open to applicants in any region of Russia. Starting compensation is RUB 50,000–70,000 net per month.

The starting salary is modest because we are hiring an early-career specialist and building a new practice together. The role has strong professional and financial growth potential: as the service develops, you can take on more complex work, expand your responsibility, and grow into the Lead Lawyer for the practice.

Selection process

  • a short application about your studies, experience, and legal interests;
  • a conversation about the project and expectations;
  • a small legal case focused on reasoning, research, and a clear answer;
  • a final discussion of responsibilities, starting salary, and growth opportunities.
