Competitor price collection

The agent opens a browser, visits your competitors' websites (e.g., DNS, Citilink, Mvideo, Yandex Market — or any others). For each SKU in your catalog, finds the equivalent (by name, model, EAN code), collects the current price, availability, delivery terms. If a competitor has a sale or discount — records that too.

Comparison and new price calculation

Builds a table: your price / competitor minimum / difference in %. For each item, calculates the optimal price with constraints: Not below cost + minimum margin. Not below psychological threshold (competitor set $9.99 — you set $9.89, not $9.90). If a competitor dumps below cost — the item is flagged separately for manual review.

Daily report

  • Summary: how many items adjusted, how many flags for manual review
  • Top 20 items where the gap with the competitor is largest
  • Items where you're already cheaper — opportunity to raise margin
  • Suspicious movements: competitor sharply dropped prices on a category
  • Price trend charts for key items over the week/month

Price updates

After your confirmation, the agent updates prices: via your CMS API or marketplace — automatically. Or via GistiQ — logs into the admin panel and makes changes. Or exports a ready file for manual upload.

Electronics online store, 500 SKUs. Competitors — DNS, Citilink, Yandex Market. Strategy: be 1% cheaper on key items, minimum margin 8%.

Every morning by 7:00 the owner receives a report: 47 items adjusted, 3 flags for manual review (DNS is dumping on RTX 4060 GPUs — price below wholesale, likely clearing stock). Top 20 gaps: Samsung 990 Pro SSD difference was 12% — now 1%. 15 items where the store is already cheaper — suggestion to raise price and increase margin by 3%.

Result: chart shows Citilink has been dropping laptop Lenovo prices for the third week — a trend worth monitoring. Updated price list ready to upload, change history saved.
