Company website development: scope, schedule and acceptance
A company website must explain the offer, establish trust and move an enquiry into the company workflow. A polished home page alone cannot do that.
Build the useful minimum
Plan an intelligible home page, distinct service pages where intent differs, evidence-rich case studies, company and legal information, measurable forms and a content system only for information the team will maintain.
Service pages, evidence, company details and contact routes should reflect the questions sales teams actually receive from prospective clients.
Structure before design
Use sales questions, search intent, old-site evidence and existing presentations to define journeys and content. A separate indexed page needs a separate user job, not merely another city name or synonym.
Search demand can inform structure, but every indexable page still needs a distinct visitor task and substantial original material.
Plan time with the client team
Our 5–7 page company sites start at ₽120,000 and about two weeks; larger multilingual or integrated builds start at ₽200,000 and about four weeks. These timings assume timely content and one accountable approver.
Agree a single decision owner and review calendar because delayed content and contradictory feedback are common schedule risks.
Launch as an operating system
Verify lead consent and delivery, unique metadata, canonical URLs, redirects, mobile speed, analytics, domain ownership and backups. Record who monitors and updates each part after launch.
Launch acceptance should include redirects from old addresses, form delivery, analytics events, backups and ownership of every account.
